NEW BUSINESS:

Cannon Issue:

Jerry Matson went to court Monday August 14th for pre-trial hearing on Canon issue. Brief: Jerry has a small homemade cannon with a very big boom. He shoots the Canon off approximately 6 times the summer season. This year Jeanette Wenzel complained to police and Jerry was served with papers stating he couldn't no longer shoot the cannon off. Jerry contends that he has lived here longer and he only shoots Canon on special occasions.

Post note: Jerry went to pre-trial hearing (Jeanette did not show). Jeanette conceded that she would drop charges if Jerry only shot Canon on holidays. Agreed upon.

It was suggested that the Lake Association provide legal assistance. Also suggested that someone from the Lake Association attend.

Rockford township meetings are held every second and fourth Tuesday of the month. Someone from the association should attend. Vice President's job to attend or delegate.

Meeting adjourned.
